Forest Bourget (Son)
Since my Birth On 12/14/23 I have ran the shop with a tyrannical iron grip. Through my cry for quality and teething desire to create woodworks. All projects are inspected and approved by me. Forest Approved.
Tyler Bourget (Dad)
From a young age I loved working with chisels and hand planes. As time went on my interests started to shift towards music. Little did I know that the love for music would combine itself with the love for woodworking. While still in high school I was informed of a tech school that specialized in stringed instrument repair and building. Attending the Tech school and learning from the instructors was a great experience that furthered my woodworking knowledge. After the two years of tech, I began working full time in the family business where I used the skills gained from tech to help the wood shop grow.
Scott Bourget (Grandpa)
I have always been the type of person that enjoys working with my hands creating and building various projects whether it be cabinetry or furniture. While I have not had any official woodworking training, other than high school, I have always found woodworking to be a good fit for me. I continually push myself to try new methods and design ideas out of my normal comfort zone. An example of that would be a recent purchase of a CNC router along with all the computer related skills needed for that type of tool.
I officially started our family business full time is 2003 and haven’t looked back. I am very proud of what we have created, and it wouldn’t be successful without the entire family involved in one way or another.
With each project that I design and build a small piece of myself is delivered along with the actual piece, whether it be a full kitchen or something smaller. While each project is different, the attention to detail is always important to me.
If you are looking for a large business that can produce multiple kitchens or projects each week that would not be us. I have always wanted to keep the business smaller allowing us the be more versatile and provide a more personal experience while providing a higher attention to detail.
